PORTRAITS Photobook Contest

CONTEST DETAILS:

- The theme is black & white portraits of strangers, one of the most difficult subjects to photograph intimately. The book features images of people Mustafah encountered across his travels. We want you to go out and capture faces. We want to see personality, creativity, and a touch of your own style.

- Files should be in JPEG with 1200 pixels on the longest side.

- Captions MUST be included in your e-mail.

- Submit a maximum of 3 entries to hello@wearemjr.com before December 15, 2008. Members of MJR will vote and the winner will be announced during the Weekly Collection. The winner gets sent a signed copy of Portraits, a 6×6 hardcover book of 19 black & white photographs featuring hand-written notes on each portrait by the photographer. This is the only copy of the book with these notes.

Good luck.

How Should We Give Away This Book?

The great folks at Blurb passed on a free book to me and so I’m posing this question to you: how should we give it away? Our last photo contest went great, with Dina Goldstein winning a large fine-art print. But we at MJR like to mix it up a bit, so post your suggestions.
